Notre première projection aura lieu vendredi le 13 mai à 18h. \nVenez manger une tranche de pizza et buvez un verre de vin pendant la projection d’un film puis rester après pour discuter du film. Seulement $5 pour AFNWCT membres et $10 for non-membres.\nLe premier film sera la comédie « Les Intouchables » \nAfter he becomes a quadipeligic from a paragliding accident\, an aristocrat hires a young man from the « projects » to be his caregiver.\nDirectors : Olicier Nakache and Eric Toledano\nStars : François Cluzet\, Omar Sy\, Anne le Ny \nPlease RSVP by Thursday\, 5/12 so we know how much pizza to buy. \n*Anne-Christine Rice was a recent speaker for “Beyond Amelie: 10 French Films for Francophiles. She teaches French language and Film at Tufts University\, where she is also the founder and director of the French Film Experience (French cine-club). She is the author of the best-selling textbook\, “Cinema for French Conversation\,” an exciting book for incorporating French cinema and culture into a French language course. Her other textbook\, “La France contemporaine à travers ses films” leverages film to explore present-day French culture and society.
