DESCRIPTION:Together\, reading aloud and discussing the text\, this group meets twice a month on Saturdays (replacing Cafe Conversation). \nThis summer’s novel will be: “La femme au carnet rouge”\nAntoine Laurain est de retour avec une comédie romantique\, La femme au carnet rouge. En bref – un soir à Paris\, une jeune femme se fait voler son sac à main\, Laurent\, un vendeur de livres\, découvre le sac abandonné le lendemain.  Pas de papiers d’identité mais quelques autres objets ( des photos\, des notes\, etc )qui donnent des indices sur leur propriétaire.  Laurent voudrait bien la rencontrer. l commence sa recherche… \nAnd what a beautiful setting for reading French literature!  There is a parking lot near the Center’s entrance.  One can park there and follow a short path to the Red Barn.  Those who find walking difficult  will be transported to the site by car. \nThe group’s meeting location is in the Red Barn located at the Audubon Center Bent of the River\, 185 East Flat Hill Road\, Southbury\, CT 06488 Audubon tel: 203-264-5098.  (See Google map below.) \nLes réunions futures pour l’été seront: le 22 juillet et le 5 et le 19 août \n\nThis event is free to AFNWCT members and has a suggested donation of $5 for non-members. \nOther questions can be directed to Kathryn at matinee@afnwct.org
