DESCRIPTION:This year\, our French Discussion Group will now meet only on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday* of each month from noon to 1:30 pm.  \nToday’s discussion will focus around The French Spelling Reform. Using an article from France-Amerique\, we’ll discuss the latest changes in the use of the circomflexe and the trait d’union. Share your ideas\, thoughts and “souvenirs” en français… \nOur Discussion Group welcomes French speakers at all levels\, whether you are a French native\, fluent\, just starting out or haven’t used your French in +20 years – bring your lunch and join us.  We promise to be friendly and kind and look forward to meeting you. \nAFNWCT members participat at no charge. DESCRIPTION:The Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury presents “A Voice from the Congo” by Toto Kisaku on Wednesday\, Septembr 21\, 2016 in the Auditorium at the Silas Bronson Library located in Waterbury from 6:00 – 7:30pm. \nToto Kisaku is congolese actor\, playwright\, director of K-Mu Theater and recipient of the 2010 international Freedom to Create Prize for K-Mu’s production of “Basal’ya Bazoba” about the violent persecution of children accused of witchcraft.
