DESCRIPTION:This Friday\, June the 15th\, we will reattempt the showing of Day of the Jackal (1973). This film is in English with French subtitles.  It is a British film showing a fictional story based in a tense period in French history when Charles DeGaulle’s life was in danger from ultranationalist extremists. Based on a mystery by Frederic Forsyth where we know the conclusion\, but do not know how the plot will take us there.  Special permission was granted to film behind the scenes at a Bastille Day Celebration and film inside the Ministry of the Interior.  Strother Purdy will introduce the film.                      The film will commence at 7PM\, at the AF Center\, please BYOB.
