Priority access given to school groups during the first hour. \nCommunity Heritage Village\nHermione shipbuilding and colonial crafts demonstrations. 18th century Military drills and demonstrations; 18th c military encampment; Navy Band (schedule TBD).\n10:00am – 4:00pm \nAlliance Francaise of Providence \nThe ship Hermione is now sailing through the Atlantic and will be in Newport\, RI on July 8th and July 9th.  A number of events will be organized during those 2 days. The Alliance Francaise of Providence is part of that effort. One of the main events will be a luncheon on Wednesday July 8th from 11:00 to 3:00 at the Ocean Cliff resort. The place overlooks the entrance to Newport Harbor so the ship will be seen when it enters the bay at 2:00 pm. The luncheon will be a sit down buffet style. There will be music and a number of dignitaries are expected for that occasion. The individual price of the tickets is $45.00\, drinks are cash bar. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $500.00.
