This summer’s novel will be Le Testament francais by Adrei Makine. \nChairperson\, Kathryn MacCullough\, will be ordering from Cecile Cohen of Yale Book Store the French version for ~$13.95 or those who also want the English version\, it will be ~$14.95. DESCRIPTION:DUE TO LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS\, THERE ARE NOW 2 SPACES AVAILABLE –  PLEASE CALL (203) 707-0710 TO RESERVE AND/OR TO BE PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST.  \nOur next French Cooking class will be held on Sunday April 19 from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. \nParticipants will prepare and enjoy a LEBANESE meal consisting of: \n\nTaboule:  salade faite avec du persil\, tomate et menthe mélangée avec du blé concassé\nPoulet farci grillé avec du riz et pignolis ainsi que des noisettes.\nKIbe: viande hachée (boeuf) melangée avec des oignons et Burghoul\, servie avec du lait callé dessus\nDessert: Baklava\n\nParticipants who wish to drink wine with their meal should bring their own. Fluency in French is not required however vocabulary related to French culinary art will be introduced; participants should bring a pen and paper for notes. \nCost is $40.00 per person (only $30 for AFNWCT Members). \nChecks made payable to AFNWCT should be sent to AFNWCT – 1 Pomperaug Office Park\, Suite 301\, Southbury\, CT 06488. \nDirections to the instructor’s private home in Watertownn will be sent once reservations have been received.
