Development Work in Francophone Africa – 2pm

On Sunday, October 23 at 2:00 pm, there will be a special education and cultural presentation titled “Development Work in Francophone Africa, a Comparison of Cultural Acceptance from the Female Perspective” given by Allegra Itsoga, Director of the American Friends of Le Korsa which is locally based in Bethany.

Le Korsa is a non-profit organization that supports deserving institutions and individuals in Senegal, empowering them to increase access to medical care, education, and the arts. Ms. Itsoga has a unique situation: she works for this Senegalese organization and she has traveled often to Francophone countries in western and central Africa, including Gabon, her husband’s native country.

Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.

$10 for AFNWCT and AATF members and $15 for non-members. Free for FT Students.
