This group meets monthly to learn to better understand and appreciate wines by comparisons: e.g. two vintages, two different years, two different regions…. Each facilitator will decide which wines will be compared.

Our third program will be led by Nelson Veiga, Maître Sommelier Diplômé and owner of The Good Life Wine and Spirits.

Nelson Veiga graduated from the Hotel Management University in Lausanne, Switzerland. . It was during his stay there that he fell in love with wine and after an extensive field study of wine, he became a professor and taught for 16 years at the School of Hospitality Management in Miami. When he moved back to Connecticut in early 2000s, the Waterbury native scouted the location of what would become The Good Life.

Cost is $7.50 per person for AFNWCT members and $10.00 for non-members. There will be a limit of 20 people so be sure to RSVP sooner than later.
