Please join the Program Committee in welcoming author and journalist Marcia DeSanctis to the Alliance Center to share with us her book “100 Places in France Every Woman Should Go“.

Ms DeSanctis book is a New York Times Travel Best Seller and is composed of essays, stories and advice about where to go in France and why. She also includes her reflections on some of the great French Women in history, such as Joan of Arc, Catherine de Medici, Edith Piaf, Amélie and Carla Bruni. Her stories come from her years of living and working in Paris and her recent trips.
Ms DeSanctis has won 5 Lowell Thomas Awards from the Society of American Travel Writers, including one for Travel Journalist of the year, for her essays from Rwanda, France, Russia, Morocco and Haiti. She is a contributor to many magazines and has been a broadcast news producer.
