An Afternoon of Fun, Food and Francophone Culture…
On September 25, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, guests will be transported all over the world and experience the rich cultures of the many French-speaking countries on all the continents. A selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres, specialty items and desserts made by our members and friends, will delight us all as guests bid on the Silent Auction items generously donated by members and area businesses.
Proceeds from this event will provide needed resources to enhance our French Language School in Southbury and fund future educational and cultural events for all to enjoy.
Experience the music, foods and traditions of Canada, France, Louisiana, Belgium, Switzerland, Senegal, Gabon, Haiti, Guadeloupe, Vietnam, Lebanon …
And, we’ll be celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Alliance Francaise of Northwestern Connecticut. which since 1921 has enriched our area with programs to help us learn or practice French and improve our knowledge of its dynamic culture.
