Meeting on the first Thursday of each month, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, participants take turns reading out loud French classic authors and enjoy hearing and sharing the richness of the French language. June’s meeting is on the 2nd and takes place back at its summer location at the Burnham Library in Bridgewater (see address below).
There’s still time to join in reading “Le grand Coeur” by Jean Christophe Rufin. Based on a true story, it’s about the fascinating life of Jacques Coeur, an entrepreneur of humble origins who rose to become an advisor to King Charles VII of France.
AFNWCT Members attend for free; A suggested donation of $5 is requested from others.
