This year, our French Discussion Group will now meet only on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from noon to 1:30 pm. Exceptionally, today’s meeting will be held on September 14 but starting in October, there will be a French Movie (Southbury Cine-Club) shown on the 2nd Thursday of the month and we wil skip the 2nd Wednesday each month.  

Today’s discussion will focus around L’artisanat du Pain à Grande Échelle. Using an article from France-Amerique, we’ll discuss the raw ingedients of Baguettes: butter, flour, etc. and other specialty breads and, in particular the newly opened Maison Kayser in New York.
