The Alliance Française invites you on October 25th to join them on their
Fall museum tour. We are traveling to the Bruce Museum
in Greenwich to see the “In the Limelight” exhibit of the works of artist
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and view a film featuring the works of Post
Impressionist Paul Cezanne.
Our guided tour will showcase Toulouse-Lautrec’s portraits of the
dancers, singers and other performers who became the icons of the
Parisian nightlife in the late 19th century. The exhibit explores the
relationship between portraiture, caricature, and rise of the cult of
celebrity in Belle Epoque Paris.
The film will view from 10:30am until 11:30am. The guided tour begins at
12:30PM. Admission for the guided tour exhibit of Toulouse-Lautrec and the film
on Paul Cezanne will be $12.00, payable at the door.
Please reserve a space by emailing afnwct@afnwct.org or calling AFNWCT
by phone (203-707-0710) by Monday, October 23rd.
The group will carpool from the AFNWCT Center, at 1 Pomperaug Office Park,
leaving at 9AM. In your email or phone call, please include your name, email address,
phone number, and whether you can offer transportation or will need transportation.
The tour is limited to 25 visitors, so reserve now!
